Student Eligibility Requirements:
All new K-8 students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch are now eligible to receive the CEF Tax Credit Scholarships for the upcoming school year (pending the availability of funds), regardless of where they live in Kansas.
In addition to qualifying for federal free or reduced-price lunch, eligible students must prove Kansas residency and meet these criteria:
· The new student must be entering K-8th grade in the upcoming school year, and
· The new student must have previously attended any public Kansas elementary or middle school (including virtual school within a public school district), or
· The student is an incoming kindergartener.
