Special Shout Out to our XC Team on a wonderful season- here are a few highlights from the season!

As the cross country season came to an end, it was evident that the Hornet team improved immensely throughout the season. From the first meet to the last meet the runners practiced hard to better themselves and their teammates. At the CYO City Meet this past weekend at Savior Pastoral the 5th /6th grade girls placed 4th in their division as a team. Teresita Hernandez and Brooklyn O’Brien led the way with both girls setting personal records at the meet. On the boy’s side, the 5th /6th grade boys also placed 4th overall as a team. Dominic Calixto Morales, Aiden Dennis, Isaac Greer and Joshua Gurrola led the way with both Dominic and Aiden setting personal records at the meet. Last but not least is our 3rd grade runners where Miriam Fernandez posted a swift time at the City Meet taking 7th place overall in the 3rd /4th grade girls division and qualifying for the Border War meet on Monday, October 24 th at JCCC starting at 5p.m. Gian Kivira also posted an excellent time at the City Meet and set a personal record as well!

AWESOME JOB HORNETS!!
