Sending out an early reminder to help Jump Start your Valentine's Day planning....
Our Valentine's Day parties will be at the end of the school day on Thursday, February 11th (noon dismissal). Traditionally, Valentine's Day includes the kids being able to go around the room giving each of their classmates a card. Sadly, we aren't able to do that this year. However, we have come up with a way that they can still share Velentine's Day cards, even if they can't physically pass them out. Please read the instructions below.
Valentine Cards drop off is FEBRUARY 4TH, at the latest--- in order to allow for at least 5 days of quarantine. Students need to bring their valentines to school in a closed bag with their name and their teacher's name on it.
Drop off bins in each classroom --- Teachers will help instruct students, but please let your child know that when they bring their bag of valentines in, they will need to place them in the bin/box that will be set up in their homerooms. We have a team that will be dividing all the valentines out into individual, personal bags for each student on Tuesday, Feb. 9th.
Virtual Students - if your child is virtual, their bag will be ready to be picked up o Wednesday, Feb. 10th.
Day of the party - the teachers will pass out each student's bundle of cards that will be in a sealed bag for them.
Thanks for understanding! We love our students and want everyone to stay safe!
