Enflame Our Homes: Lenten Scripture Study

Archbishop Naumann has created a series of Lenten Study reflections on the Gospel readings for Ash Wednesday and the Sundays of Lent.  Each reflection also includes a short personal witness of faith from a lay person in the Archdiocese.  We’ve also created pdf guides for reflection/discussion based on his sharing.

Each Monday, the upcoming Sunday reflection/guide will be posted on the Enflame website at http://archkcks.org/

Archbishop Naumann's Lenten Scripture Study for Ash Wednesday (Feb. 17) and the 1st Sunday of Lent (Feb. 21) are available at http://archkcks.org/. Access both podcast recordings and reflection/discussion guides!

Ash Wednesday -- Archbishop Naumann reflects upon the Gospel for Ash Wednesday and the significance of LENT.  Andrea gives a witness talk on how God’s consolation to her during a family tragedy brought her into greater friendship with the Lord.

1st Sunday of Lent -- Archbishop Naumann reflects upon Mark’s account of Jesus’s temptation in the desert and how God brings joy even to the most dire times of our life. Chris shares what happened when he started doing more than just externally practicing his Faith, but opened his heart to a personal relationship with Jesus through daily, meditative prayer.
