Hello, Holy Cross community! My name is Bridget Holloway and my job here at Holy Cross consists of two parts. First, I help teachers carry out our reading and phonics program with fidelity and help them with best teaching practices. We adopted a new reading program, Amplify, for grades K-8. The program is at the forefront of trends in education, including elements of the Science of Reading and Core Knowledge. I also help reading interventionists and the work they do to meet the needs of specific students. We examine benchmark assessments and determine what help students may need to support them in addition to the classroom core instruction.
