The second graders at Holy Cross School just finished participating in their First Holy Communion retreat morning. This time was spent praying, hearing from Father Oswaldo about the mass, gathering around the altar, decorating banners, and remembering our baptism by decorating candles that are to be carried in on the morning of First Communion. The final activity was reenacting The Last Supper. This was a very reflective time for all who participated. If you would like to attend this First Communion mass it will be on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. Please keep our second graders and all who are receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time, in your prayers. We will continue to pray for the Holy Cross community as well.
