Middle school is off to a great start this school year. We first began with a team building activity for all students grades six through eight. The students participated in an escape room that was all about growth mindset skills. This activity was a great way for the students to all interact with each other across the three grade levels while learning about the concepts of growth mindset which hopefully they will carry with them throughout the school year. Some of the different puzzles they had to solve dealt with language arts skills, mathematical skills and different types of scientific reasoning. The students had a great time and were even rewarded with candy for doing a phenomenal job of working together. --Mrs. Amy Sells
